Libya – Regency of Tripoli, Selim III (1789–1807) 80 para in silver – 1203/18 AH (1807) Extremely rare, with only one other specimen known in the collection of Mr. Ender. Unpublished date and not previously recorded. Listed for other years in KM as 50 para instead of 80 para. 24.06 g – KM missing, cf. 66 According to Professor Kaan, during the First World War, the Ottoman Empire melted down almost all 80 and 100 para coins.
