Description
Very pretty floral painting by Henry-Claudius Forestier (1874-1922), a notable painter in Geneva, well known for his paintings and engravings. He worked for the Exposition Nationale in 1896. From 1905 onwards, he devoted himself mainly to painting, and his favorite subjects were bouquets of flowers, followed by landscapes. Born in Chêne-Bougeries, he spent the rest of his life in Meyrin.
