Magnificent and rare 875 silver (84 Zolotnik) snuff box. This splendid piece of Russian silverware is entirely nielloed with fine floral decoration, richly gilded inside (vermeil). Made in Moscow, Russia, around 1840. A beautiful antique display object with a rich history! Good condition considering its age, fine cracks on the bottom. Dimensions approximately 7cm by 3cm, height 2cm. Weight 57.6 grams.
