Thick, colorless, pyriform bottle, Eastern Mediterranean, 1st-2nd century A.D. H 20cm / W 3.7cm - Barag 1970 variant type XXI 13 A rare and unusual variant of a common shape. This bottle is very tall, 20cm, and the two sides are flattened rather than spherical. These two features make this bottle very unusual and rare. Blown and decorated, small pontil mark, intact. It is believed to have been found in Israel.
