France, Henri II, Teston au Moulin, 1554 A, Paris, ex Ernst Otto Horn collection. Graded PCGS VF 30 Teston au Moulin are the first milled (machine struck) coins in the world. Ernst Otto Horn (born December 4, 1880, in Meissen; died May 7, 1945, in the same place) was a German numismatist, merchant, wine cooper, wine wholesaler, Royal Saxon purveyor to the court, and art collector from Meissen. His father also bore the name Ernst Otto Horn. To differentiate between them, he is often referred to simply as Otto Horn, the Otto Horn Collection, or the Horn Collection. Experts consider Horn to have owned one of the most extensive universal collections in Germany. His collection included approximately 65,000 items, featuring coins, medals, and historical seals. In recent times, his numismatic collection has been the subject of various legal disputes. INV: 59985P24111
