"Mysteries of the Universe" is an enchanting piece of art that invites the viewer to immerse themselves in a world of enigmas and deep contemplation. At the center of the composition is a skull rendered in rich blue and black tones, symbolizing human consciousness and its eternal quest for the unknown. The skull is enveloped in a radiance of golden circles, which represent mystical portals or windows into other dimensions. This contrast highlights the dualism of life and death, light and darkness, knowledge and mystery. Golden accents, made using gold leaf, add an element of sanctity and eternity to the painting, emphasizing the value of every moment of life and every discovery. The painting reminds us that life is full of enigmas and mysteries, and each of us has the opportunity to discover our own truth if we are brave enough to seek it. 70x80 cm About the Artist: My artistic journey began in my homeland, Ukraine, where I saw my path in art and entered the world of painting as a realist artist in 1990. Over time, I began to explore the subtle connections between consciousness and reality, understanding how we perceive the world and how knowledge comes to us. This path opened the doors for me into the realm of abstract symbolism, where each symbol carries a profound meaning and reflects the diversity of human experience. In restoration workshops, I acquired the skills to work with gold leaf, natural pigments, and began to create my works using a complex and rare technique. Many of my works are done on a wooden linden base, covered with gesso and 24 carat gold leaf. This is a complex and lengthy process of preparing the material to which I approach responsibly and scrupulously. Moving from canvas to board, I create works that possess strength and durability. Gold leaf gives the works an extraordinary glow, while careful engraving adds depth and mystery. My creative inspiration is limitless, and I am constantly in search of new ideas and methods. Now I am immersed in working with natural mother-of-pearl, this enchanting gift of the sea, which, mixed with oil paints, I turn into pictorial strokes, reflecting the play of light and shades. In each experiment, I find a new nuance of meaning and a new possibility of expression. In 2020, my work ''Aravana'' was presented and successfully sold in London at the Phillips auction. Also in 2020, the artwork ''Eye of the World'' was accepted into the main fund of the collection of The Odessa Museum of Western and Eastern Art. Stored in the Department of Art of Ukraine.
