Small Cherokee wedding vase by Elzina Tramper Bradley. 1950s-1960s, N.C. USA North Carolina. Elzina Tramper Bradley (1917-2007) is best known for her mottled beige and smoke-black pottery, produced using traditional methods. The open flame adds a final touch of color, producing works with an organic surface. Examples of her work can be found in several museums in the United States. The pieces are very rare. Minor chips (see photos) otherwise good condition. Height 59.2mm. Maximum diameter 43mm. Inv: 6000.5P24.32
