Extremely rare telescope by the legendary English firm Troughton and Simms( known for their high quality products). This Telescope was awarded by the British Government to the Swedish Captain Oscar Alexander Lindstrom for the rescue of the crew of the Sarah King. The telescope is accompanied by the photo of the captain and the correspondence of his descendant with the City of London, who was doing research on this amazing historical piece. Comes in. its original mahogany case with a brass plaque carrying the name of Captain Lindstrom.
