During this verification, Geneva Collections may ask you to provide:
- a valid ID document;
- recent proof of residence (such as a utility bill or other proof of address);
- valid bank details, to enable payment of your sales proceeds.
The information provided is processed in accordance with our data protection policy and stored securely.
Why does my seller account need to be verified?
Verifying seller accounts strengthens platform security and protects both buyers and sellers. It also ensures that payments can be correctly transferred to a bank account belonging to the seller.
Why do I need to provide an ID document?
Verifying your identity strengthens platform security and reduces the risk of fraud.
Why do I need to provide proof of residence?
Proof of residence may be requested to verify your seller account information and to meet our compliance obligations.

Bank details are required so that Geneva Collections can pay you the proceeds of your sales. They are used solely for payments to your seller account.
How do I update my bank details?
You can update your bank details at any time from your seller account. For security reasons, an additional verification may be carried out before the next payment.

Can I cancel my purchase?
If you wish to cancel a purchase, please contact Geneva Collections as soon as possible. Repeated, abusive, or unjustified cancellations may result in measures against the account concerned, up to and including suspension or closure.
SELLING
How do I create a listing?
From your seller account, click "Sell", fill in the requested information, and submit your listing. It will be reviewed before publication.
Why does Geneva Collections review listings?
Before publication, all listings are reviewed to improve their quality, reduce the risk of fraud, and verify the consistency of the information provided. When necessary, Geneva Collections may also seek the opinion of its experts. However, this review does not constitute a guarantee of authenticity. The seller remains solely responsible for the authenticity, provenance, and compliance of the items offered for sale.
How long does the review take?
Review generally takes place within two business days. If further research is needed, we will contact you.
Why was my listing rejected?
A listing may be rejected if the item does not fall within Geneva Collections' accepted categories, or if the information provided is insufficient for publication. Any clear attempt at fraud, counterfeiting, or publishing an illegal item may result in immediate suspension or permanent closure of the user account.
Can I edit a listing?
Yes. Any change to a listing triggers a new review before it is republished.
Can I delete a listing?
Yes. You can delete your listing at any time, as long as no sale has been completed.
Can I sell my item elsewhere?
Yes. However, if your item is no longer available, you must remove your listing from Geneva Collections as soon as possible. No commission is owed if your item is sold outside the platform.
What fees does the seller pay?
When an item is sold on the platform, fees are:
- 15% of the sale price for a Standard listing;
- 20% of the sale price for a Premium listing.
In all cases, the minimum commission is CHF 10.- per item sold.
Do I need to fill in every field?
Only fields marked with an asterisk (*) are required. However, we recommend completing your listing with as much information as possible to improve its quality and visibility.
DELIVERY
When can I ship my item?
You should only ship your item after receiving an email from Geneva Collections confirming that the buyer's payment has been received.
What delivery methods should I use?
Delivery methods depend on the nature, size, and value of the item. We recommend:
- Swiss Post for lower-value items;
- an insured specialized carrier for valuable items;
- in-person hand delivery for large or fragile items.
Except for in-person hand delivery, all shipments must always include a tracking number.
Is Click & Collect available?
Yes. Geneva Collections offers a Click & Collect service at its premises at Cour de Saint-Pierre 5, 1204 Geneva.
Do I always need to provide a tracking number?
Yes, except for in-person hand delivery. The tracking number allows Geneva Collections and the buyer to track the item's delivery.
PAYMENTS
Why isn't my balance available yet?
The amount from your sale remains pending until the transaction is closed. The transaction is closed:
- when the buyer confirms successful receipt of the item;
or - automatically twenty (20) business days after proof of delivery, if no dispute has been opened.
Once the transaction is closed, the amount becomes available in your seller account.
How do I request payment of my balance?
Once your balance is available, you can request payment at any time. Geneva Collections also makes automatic payments at regular intervals. Funds are transferred to the bank account registered on your seller account.
SECURITY
Who is responsible for the authenticity of items?
Each seller remains solely responsible for the authenticity, provenance, and compliance of the items offered for sale. Reviews carried out by Geneva Collections and its experts do not constitute a guarantee of authenticity.
