Famous German camera from the 30's Voigtländer Superb in its original case. Good condition. The camera is functional. The leather case is original. The Superb is a magnificent twin-lens reflex camera. The aiming and shooting lenses are linked by a gear located around their circumference. This is a true SLR. The aiming lens tilts slightly according to the shooting distance, to compensate for parallax. The small lever on the right of the photo scrolls the film. A small counter on the back of the camera counts the number of frames. The shutter is a Compur. Speed is set by rotating the outer ring. As the speed digits are on the front of this ring, a small mirror, judiciously oriented, reflects the image of the selected speed digit upwards towards the user, when he or she leans over the frosted surface. The 1934 model features a sporty viewfinder, a feature missing from earlier models. There's a tear in the top of the case (see photo).
