Rodolphe Piguet (1840–1915) – Rare 1911 pastel painting of Mont Salève, Geneva Beautiful and rare original pastel painting dating from 1911, depicting Mont Salève, the iconic mountain overlooking Geneva, by the celebrated Swiss artist Rodolphe Piguet (1840–1915). Born in Geneva, Piguet was an accomplished painter, pastellist, and engraver who studied under renowned artists, including Barthélemy Menn and Charles Glardon. His international career took him to New York and Paris, where he regularly exhibited in prestigious art salons and gained recognition for his landscapes, portraits, and exceptional engraving techniques.
