Geneva, St. Peter's Cathedral, slab from the former floor of the Chapelle des Macchabées, 19th century. A unique opportunity to acquire an original piece from St. Peter's Cathedral. This is a slab that once covered the floor of the Chapelle des Macchabées, installed in the 19th century. The slabs were replaced in the 1970s by Carouge potter Max Bidermann, and some of the originals were auctioned off for the benefit of cathedral conservation, as part of the "Clefs de Saint-Pierre" program. This slab is accompanied by the original certificate, dated June 1976. Inv: 6000D253N103

A unique opportunity to acquire an original piece from St. Peter's Cathedral. This is a slab that once covered the floor of the Chapelle des Macchabées, installed in the 19th century.
