Finding a large lacquered silver cup like this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Most Russian lacquer miniatures, produced by companies like Lukutin and Vishnyakov, were made from papier-mâché. Silver was used only for special custom orders. Dvonik Saint Petersburg mark, 84 zolotnik imperial standard, silversmith TH. 215.55 grams; 7.2 cm high on plate Inv: 5998D251N306
