Switzerland, Geneva, 42 Sols 1831 19th century copy. The pattern of the 42 sols is considered one of the rarest coins in Geneva numismatics, since only a few specimens of the original are known to exist, a small number of copies were made in the late 19th century, likely by Charles Roumieux, a Geneva numismatist. There copies were of exceptional quality and are nowadays considered as a rare collectable. They can be differentiatred from the original strike by the presence on the word "Copie" on the key as well as 4 dots below the eagle's beak, instead of 6 on the original issue.
