Silver 3,76g. Crawford 425/1. Sydenham 919. Almost extremely fine. Beautifuly toned with a 19th century Indian ink collection number. Excellent, realistic "portrait" of Ancus Marcius, the 4th legendary king of Rome (c. 640–616 BC), who among many other acomplishments let build the port of Ostia and the Aqua Marcia aqueduct seen on the reverse.
