Jean-Baptiste Arthur Calame(1843-1919) was a Swiss Painter from Geneva. He was the son and a student of Alexandre Calame(1810-1864), one of the most famous Swiss painters. He studied for two years in the Düsseldorf academy and later commenced his travels to Italy, where he completed multiple works. This is an original view of Venise, which he created during those travels. The size of the frame is 42 x 56 cm
