Geneva, Shooting award tin plate from 1749. Very Rare A very rare plate measuring approximately 36.5 cm and weighing 1524 Grams The plate itself was manufactured in Geneva in the 1720's and carries the corresponding hallmarks. The shooting award from 1749 is one of the earliest known, most of these award plates being from the second part of the 18th century. On the back there is a later engraving from 1968, when this plate was given as a gift to a bank employee for 10 years of employment. Inv: 6000D253N71
